Serene Branson’s real health problem
Television reporter Serene Branson’s supposed stroke following the Grammy Awards turned out not to be a stroke at all. She slurred her words during a live report.
In fact, she had migraine of an unusual type. That’s where knowledge usually stops and most reports just talk about drugs and treatments.
But why does she have migraine? That’s the million dollar question!
In fact over 90% of migraines are caused by food allergy. I treated 10,000s of cases in my time. Attention to the food allergy phenomenon got people well most of the time and reduced the frequency in others.
One woman patient, aged 63 years, I found to have an allergy to milk. This was back in the 1980s. She had a migraine every week of her life, from the age of 3; that’s 60 years of migraine, just due to drinking milk, “which is good for you”.
You’d think she would be grateful; but if fact she was mad as Hell! Perhaps I would be too, if docs had spent 60 years pumping me full of dangerous anti-migraine drugs, instead of suggesting a healthier diet.
What Serene and other migraine sufferers need is a copy of my book “Diet Wise“, which tells you how to figure all this out for yourself.
Of course when I came forward with this food allergy story in the late 70s, early 80s, I was called a quack and a fraud. BUt then a paper published in The Lancet in 1983 reported that 93% of migraines in children were eliminated by an allergy exclusion diet [Egger J, Carter CM, Wilson J, Turner MW. Is migraine a food allergy? A double-blind controlled trial of oligoantigenic diet treatment. Lancet 1983;2:865-9].
Guess what the dodos said to that? “That was just kids, it doesn’t apply to adults”! (all said without any data to back up their nonsense statement)
